The act of physically writing out your desires on paper is a powerful way of sending a clear message to the universe about what you want to achieve.
So, how exactly do you manifest on paper?
It’s a little more in-depth than simply writing out a list of what you want, but dont worry – I’ll walk you through it step by step so that you manifest your dream life in no time!

How to manifest on paper in 5 steps
1. Know what you want to manifest
Before you can manifest anything, you’ve got to know exactly what you want to manifest.
This may sound obvious, but many people don’t have a clear idea of what they desire, and this lack of clarity can actually lead to manifestation failures.
I always start by sitting down and asking myself a few questions, such as:
- What would having this allow me to do?
- How would I feel if I had this in my life?
- What would this enable me to achieve?
When you know exactly what you want to manifest, it becomes much easier to take action steps towards making it happen.
2. Decide what method you want to use
There isn’t just one way to manifest on paper – there are actually quite a few different methods you can use.
It’s important to choose the method that feels right for you, as this will increase your chances of success.
Below, I’ve listed 3 of the most popular methods. I recommend picking one that stands out to you and giving it a try.
One of the most popular manifestation techniques that involves writing is scripting.
This is where you write out your desire as if it has already happened.
For example, you might write, “I am so happy and grateful now that I have my dream job.” or “I am so happy and grateful now that I have the perfect partner.”
You can write about anything you want to attract, no matter how big or small, as long as you write in the present tense.
The key is to feel the emotions as if they have already happened and add as many details as possible.

You’ve probably heard of this one before, but just in case you haven’t, journaling is basically when you write down positive ideas relating to your goals and dreams.
This process can help you to articulate your wishes clearly, and the act of writing them down helps to embed them in your subconscious mind.
Journaling is also a great way to track your progress and see how far you’ve come.
As you journal, imagine yourself already living the life you desire.
Describe in detail what you see, feel, and experience.
The more vividly you can picture yourself achieving your goal, the more likely it is to become a reality.

3. 22×2 method
Probably my favorite manifestation method, the 22×2 method, is a super simple way to write down your desires and help make them come true in just 2 days (yes, you read that right!).
All you need to do is write down your desire 22 times for 2 days in a row.
Doing this helps focus your energy and attention on what you want to achieve.
And by writing it down consistently 22 times for 2 days, you are essentially programming your subconscious.

3. Visualize your desire
Visualization really is the backbone of manifestation.
It’s all about seeing and imagining your desire in your mind’s eyes as if it has already happened.
When you can see, feel, and believe it, you help change your thoughts and feelings about it, which then attracts it into your life.
So, how do you actually visualize your desire on paper?
Well, you can use a vision board (which is basically a collection of images that represent your goal), or you can simply close your eyes and visualize it in your mind.
See yourself already living the life you desire.
What does it look like?
What do you see around you?
Who are you with?
What are you doing?
How does it make you feel?
Really feel the emotions as if it has already happened and add as many details as possible.
The more realistic you can make it, the better.
4. Add affirmations
Controlling your thoughts is one of the most important aspects of manifestation.
After all, your thoughts become your reality, so you must focus on positive thoughts if you want to attract positive things into your life.
Affirmations can help you do this.
An affirmation is basically a positive statement that you use to change your mindset about something.
For example, if you want to attract more money into your life, you might use the affirmation “I am a money magnet.”
Or, if you want to attract your dream job, you might say, “I am confident and capable of achieving anything I set my mind to.”
The key to making affirmations work is to really believe them.
If you don’t believe what you’re saying, it will not work.
You can write your affirmations down on paper and place them somewhere where you will see them daily, such as on your fridge or in your car.
But the most popular way to use affirmations is to repeat them to yourself out loud, either in the morning or evening (or both!).
When you do this, make sure to put feeling into it and really imagine yourself achieving your goal.
5. Practice gratitude
We all want more of what we already have, but the truth is, if we want to attract more good things into our lives, then we need to be grateful for what we already have.
We need to take the time to reflect on all the good things we have and give thanks for them.
This helps shift our focus from what we don’t have to what we do have, and it helps us feel more positive and optimistic about our lives, which attracts more good things.
You can express your gratitude in several ways, but one of the best ways to do it is to write it down.
Get a journal and dedicate a few pages to listing everything you are grateful for.
Do this every day, and you will start to notice a difference in your life.
