The universe is full of surprises.

Even though we can’t see or understand everything in it, something about it seems to call out to us.

We all long for oneness with the universe, but how do we achieve it?

It may not be as difficult as you think.

In this article, I’ll guide you through some simple steps that will help you to open up to the experience of oneness with the universe.

What is oneness?

Oneness is a state of being in which we feel connected to the entire universe.

This feeling of connection can be experienced in many different ways.

For some, it is a sense of love and compassion for all beings.

For others, it is a deep understanding of the interconnectedness of all things.

Regardless of how it is experienced, oneness is a state of being that brings peace and harmony into our lives.

When we are connected to the universe in this way, we can see the beauty in all things and work towards creating a world filled with love and light.

What does oneness feel like?

Oneness is a state of ultimate unity and wholeness.

How to experience oneness with the universe 

There are many different ways to experience oneness with the universe.

Some people meditate or do yoga to connect with the larger whole.

Others may find a sense of connection through nature or by spending time with loved ones.

Here are a few suggestions for how you can experience oneness in your own life:

1. Spend time in nature 

One of the best ways to feel connected to the universe is to spend time in nature.

There is something about being in the presence of trees, rivers, and mountains that can help us to feel small and insignificant in the grand scheme of things.

When we’re surrounded by natural beauty, it can be easier to let go of our worries and simply be present in the moment.

We may not always be able to control what is happening in the world, but spending time in nature can help us to remember that we are part of something much bigger than ourselves.

2. Release resistance

Resistance is what keeps us feeling separate from the world around us.

It is the belief that we are not good enough, don’t belong, or are not worthy of love.

This resistance creates a barrier between us and the rest of the world, preventing us from experiencing the true oneness that we are.

To connect with the universe, we must first let go of this resistance.

We can do this by practicing self-love and acceptance.

Instead of judging or fighting your feelings, simply observe them with curiosity and detachment.

Allow yourself to feel both the positive and negative emotions that arise without attachment or judgment.

By releasing resistance in this way, you can open yourself up to new levels of understanding and insight.

As you let go of the need to control your experience, you will find yourself more connected with the universe’s flow.

3. Connect with your breath

When we pay attention to our breath, we can get in touch with our own rhythms and the rhythms of the world around us.

We can use our breath to calm and focus our minds or energize and inspire ourselves.

By simply being aware of our breath, we can begin to feel a deeper sense of connection with all that exists.

Try it yourself:

  • Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down, and simply observe your breath as it flows in and out.
  • Notice the rise and fall of your chest, the movement of your stomach, and the sensation of air moving through your nose and mouth.
  • Let your thoughts come and go without judgment, and simply return your attention to your breath whenever you find your mind wandering.

4. Practice mindfulness

When we are mindful, we are completely present in the moment, without judgment or attachment.

This allows us to see things as they really are, without the filter of our own biases and assumptions.

As we become more aware of our thoughts and feelings, we can also start to let go of them, which frees us from the limitations of our individual selves.

Instead, we begin to identify with the broader world around us, experiencing a sense of unity with all that exists.

This doesn’t mean that we no longer have our own unique identities but rather that we’re no longer defined by them.

We can still be individuals while also feeling connected to the wider world.

5. Listen to your heart

Our hearts are the gateway to our intuition, which is the language of the soul.

When we listen to our hearts, we can connect with our highest selves and the wisdom of the universe.

This inner guidance can lead us to new levels of understanding and awareness, and it can help us live more authentic and fulfilling lives.

To connect with your heart, simply take a few moments to sit quietly and focus your attention on your chest.

Feel the beating of your heart, and let your mind become still.

Then, simply ask your heart for guidance, and listen for the answer.

You may receive guidance in the form of a thought, feeling, or image.

Trust whatever comes to you, and follow your heart’s guidance.

6. Connect with your body

The body is a temple of the soul, and it is through the body that we experience the world.

To truly connect with the universe, we must first connect with our own bodies.

Through practices such as yoga and meditation, we can learn to quiet the mind and connect with the body’s wisdom.

We can develop a deeper understanding of ourselves and our place in the world by attuning to our bodily sensations.

When we connect with our bodies, we open ourselves up to a deeper connection with the universe.

When we feel disconnected from the universe, we are often focused on our individual selves.
